Elizabeth has been up to a lot this month! She is doing very well sitting on her own. She still needs a little support from time to time, but overall does it on her own! She started solids this month. We started out with green beans and she did very well! She liked them a lot! The first week, I was just giving half a jar at a time, but now she will eat the whole jar. So far she has had: green beans, peas, carrots, squash, and recently she tried bananas and applesauce. She loves it all...so far! When we went to her 6 month check up, it was discovered that she has a sinus infection, so she didn't get her shots...yah! But we have to go back and get them...yuck! She has been teething hard core! We can see the two little white teeth on the bottom getting ready to poke thru! Doctor said it could be tomorrow or next month! I am praying for tomorrow!! She has been having trouble sleeping at night. She has been waking up a lot (she slept better when she was 1 month!) and it could be caused by several different things. Around 6 months is when they start having seperation anxiety and that could wake her up. Also, the teething thing and sinus infection could be the cause. I also read where when babies are going thru growth spurts or developmental stages, they are more restless. Not sure what the cause is, but hoping it starts getting better! Sleepless nights equals one tired Mommy!
6 months flew by! Elizabeth is such a sweet baby. Kyle and I love our little girl so much, I think we are starting to forget what our life was like before her (looking back, pretty boring compared to now!). Happy 6 months Elizabeth June, we love you more and more everyday!
